Please note that the quarterly planning meeting has moved from Tuesday to Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Conference Room B. Bring a printed copy of your department budget and a short list of goals for the next three months. If you cannot attend, send a summary to the office manager by Wednesday afternoon so it can be shared with the group. Parking in the north lot will be limited that morning because of resurfacing work, so plan a few extra minutes for your arrival. Lunch will be provided after the meeting, and any dietary needs should be sent to the front desk by Monday.

Start typing to begin the clock. Pasting is turned off, just like on a real hiring test.

What's on the certificate

Your name, net WPM, accuracy, gross WPM, uncorrected errors, test length, the passage type and the date, plus a link like ritetype.com/jobs/verify/?id=RT-XXXX-XXXX that shows the same details from our records.

How to list it on a résumé

Under Skills: “Typing: 52 net WPM, 98% accuracy (5-minute test, RiteType Certified, Oct 2026), ritetype.com/jobs/verify/?id=…”. Use your real numbers and a 5-minute result if you have one.

What it isn't

It's an online practice result, not a proctored exam. For U.S. federal jobs, OPM accepts proficiency certificates only from organizations authorized by its local office (OPM). RiteType isn't one of them, so bring your skills to the employer's own test too.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a typing certificate online for a job?

Yes. With the Typing Test Prep Pack you can create a RiteType Certified certificate from any timed result. Each one has a check link employers can open.

Is a RiteType certificate accepted by employers?

Many employers run their own test, and acceptance is up to them. The certificate shows your result and lets them confirm it was issued by RiteType. It isn't a proctored exam.

How much does the certificate cost?

Certificates are part of the Typing Test Prep Pack, a one-time $4.99 purchase that also unlocks every timed test and the 10-key trainer. RiteType Pro includes it.
