Halloween typing FAQ
Are the Halloween typing games free?
Yes. The daily Halloween challenge, Spooky Typing practice and all 5 event badges are free, with no ads and no sign-up. Kids can play right away.
Is it scary?
No. Everything is spooky-cute: smiling pumpkins, friendly ghosts, sleepy bats and candy. The word lists are hand-picked and checked so every word is clean and kid-friendly.
How long does the Halloween event run?
The event runs from October 26 to November 2. Badges can only be earned during those dates, and once earned they stay on your progress page.
What age is it for?
Spooky Typing and the daily challenge use short words and simple sentences, so they suit kids from about age 7. Younger kids can try it with a grown-up nearby.
Do Halloween words show up in the other typing games?
During the event, Halloween words are mixed into the word games, like Word Stack and 60-Second Frenzy. You can turn that off on this page.
